Room 6 having fun making estimates of how long, wide and deep different items are around our classroom. After estimating, students had to use a ruler to see how close their estimates actually were to the measurement in cms and mms.
Hi Room 6, It looks like you have had fun having a look at the sizes of different things in your class. Did you find it tricky to estimate? Did anybody manage to guess exactly right? Thanks for sharing your learning, I can't wait to see what else you have been learning about! Mr Riceman
We did find it tricky estimating to begin with, but once we had estimated the measurement of a few objects, we kind of worked out the measurements of other things.
Some students in Room 6 managed to estimate correctly, they must have ruler sharp eyesight for measuring!!
